In early October, I held a North Dupont Circle Transportation Safety Walk to meet with neighbors and hear directly from you about your transit safety concerns and identify immediate actions that could be taken to address them. After completing the walk, which brought us to five stops in the area, my team and I compiled and sent a list of actions items to the District Department of Transportation (DDOT). There are many transportation challenges in Ward 2, and we are grateful to those who joined us for this walk to communicate their concerns. Please continue to submit needed repairs and updates through 311.

I am working with DDOT to address the challenges listed below and others to ensure that these critical needs are met. Ensuring that our roads are safe for pedestrians, bikers, and drivers alike is of the upmost importance, and I thank you for your participation.

Yours in service,

Councilmember Brooke Pinto
